Each country has its own separate regulations and knowing this, we can offer a wide range of solutions so that you can always feel safe.

               1/ APPROVALI
 

Homologation is the legal legalization of Tiny House, giving the ability to move on public roads, in accordance with the B+E driving license category.

 

For approval to be possible, the entire facility must meet a number of requirements set out in the Public Traffic Act for a given country and related regulations. In addition, we offer a number of adjustments of Tiny House to the law and conditions.     

Basic requirements for approval, resulting from the road traffic law.

The above requirements are mainly related to the physical parameters listed below. In addition to them, you should remember about other legal aspects resulting from the type-approval method and local laws, especially planning ones.

So what physical requirements does a Tiny House have to meet?

1. Dimensions: It must not be wider than 255 cm and higher than 400 cm.
2. Weight: Must not exceed a total weight of 3500 kg.
3. Length: We are limited by the size of the platform, but in practice it is difficult for objects longer than 600 cm to fit in the above weight using standard interior solutions. The length should not exceed 12 m, but in practice we do not often have objects longer than 8.4 m. The longer the object, the heavier it will be.

In order for Tiny House to be approved, it must meet the following physical requirements:

1. Dimensions: It must not be wider than 100.39 inch (255 cm) and higher than 157.48 inch (400 cm).

2. Weight: Must not exceed a total weight of 7716 lb (3500 kg)

3. Length: Usually between 212.60 and 322.83 inch (540 and 820 cm)

The homologation consists of:

1. Insurance

2. Registration

3. Technical review

In each country, the above regulations are separate, while our BOtiny HOUSE provides solutions for each case.

                     2/ SAFETY DOCUMENTS
 

               1. Statics

Static calculations for a structural design are a multi-page document full of calculations in which a combination of actions with various factors is determined. The effect of the calculations is to ensure a stable, well-concentrated structure, ensuring the safety of users, when analyzing various types of loads encountered in the environment, weather conditions and others.

The statics document is designed to influence the course of the structure, ensuring safety in each analyzed situation. Thanks to this, we know what forces are permissible in relation to our individual construction. About the types of parameters, will be in a moment. 

 

BOtiny HOUSE solutions ensure the statics of the building and guarantee safety.

                2. Certificate of building characteristics, the so-called "efficiency" and the share of primary energy ratio (PER) in it

The EU Energy Performance Buildings Directive - 2002/91/EC defines the values of the energy certificate, the so-called efficiency.

The certificate "coefficient of performance (COP)" aims to improve the energy efficiency of the building.

 

Each country has its own value of Primary Energy Ratio (PER), and BOtiny HOUSE solutions meet all requirements.
